Have You Ever Thought About… Gift Giving? For over 60 years the Sisters of St. Benedict have been serving the physical and spiritual needs of the people of Utah. Many people have generously given donations in support of the sisters’ services as well as in support of their life and presence here. The sisters gratefully remember these Benefactors and Friends in the daily community prayer and the weekly community celebration Persons wishing to help the sisters may do so by making a donation, or by planned gift-giving which can be in the form of wills, bequests, or estate planning. If desired by the donor, gifts may be designated for specific areas of monastery support such as care of the sisters or vocations and membership, as well as for ministries of the sisters. At this time, a unique sculptured “Tree of Life” is displayed in the Gathering Place of the monastery.
This is a living memorial to Dr. E. R. Dumke which was made possible through the generosity of his family. Donors of gifts of $1000.00 or more may have their names engraved on a leaf on the Tree. Donors determine the beneficiary of the gift to be Mount Benedict Monastery or St. Benedict’s Foundation. All gifts to the monastery and to the Foundation are tax deductible as designated by the donor’s wishes. More information about the various forms of gift-giving can be found on the St. Benedict’s Foundation page and responses may be forwarded through the Inquiries page.
